Did you know that 1 in 4 people suffer from a mental health problem before they die? That’s a lot of people. It definitely means someone you know — it might mean you. All the more reason to take a good look at the way we think about mental illness. Why not have a laugh or two while we do it?

I’ll pop you in right when it gets good (1:29). There’s a bit of a lull around the 5-minute mark, but stick around because at 6:05 it goes to a pretty profound place and stays there all the rest of the way through.


It’s true. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health issue at some point in their lives, but two-thirds will never seek help from a professional. Even when you isolate the U.S. population, the numbers are the same.
